With the proliferation of the cloud these days, more and more companies are looking to take their backups offsite and out of their data center into the cloud. This is defined as BaaS and is something that many of EMC’s partners are starting to leverage for their own clients. But BaaS is not just a way to move your backups into the cloud with a partner, but it is also a way to treat backups performed internally for your users as a service. These two videos provide additional information about what BaaS, and some deployment models that can be achieved with EMC backup and recovery hardware and software.
